Social Media / Brand Manager
(Full Time - D.O.E.)
About the job
We are seeking a creative and skilled Social Media Brand Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media and a passion for producing engaging and informative content across various platforms. This role involves creating and implementing a social media strategy internally and working with the marketing team on client consultation projects.
Reporting to the Marketing heads, you will bring a strong grasp of brand and voice, tailoring engaging writing styles to both B2B and B2C audiences. Collaborating with the Video and Digital teams, you will lead the delivery of our internal social media organic outreach.
Who are we?
We design & build exceptional websites and use digital campaigns to help brands succeed.
For 15 years, we’ve been helping businesses turn screens into brand showcases. Our compact team of talent combines innovation with industry experience to create a complete digital package for your business.
Who are you?
We’re in a truly exciting stage of company development, and we’re looking for someone with plenty of ideas and the gumption to express them. Our nimble team is perfect for someone who enjoys learning and growing within a team but also is looking to make their role their own with the support management above.
We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude who can learn quickly and keep on progressing with our full support. You don’t need expertise in all fields as long as you excel in conducting thorough research and are a skilled writer. If you’re the type of person who wants to hit the ground running, then you’ll fit in just perfectly.
We care less about your qualifications and more about you, your aspirations, your reasons for doing what you do and how we can be a good fit for you.
If you are a creative thinker with excellent attention to detail and a passion for using social media to connect with audiences, we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll be up to:
- Develop social media strategies and set goals to increase brand awareness, engagement, leads, and sales.
- Manage all internal and external social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Threads, with potential expansion to TikTok and YouTube.
- Take a data-driven approach to decision-making, providing in-depth analysis of daily performance across all social platforms.
- Utilise insights from the customer journey on social media to collaborate with team members, offering data-driven and actionable campaign suggestions to support other channels (paid, CRO, email, content).
- Write and create engaging copy and multimedia content.
- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to posts and fostering discussions.
- Monitor and report on social media performance using tools such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics.
- Educate staff on social media use and promote its integration within the company.
- Stay updated on new and emerging social media trends and advancements.
- Measure the performance of all social media channels and set target KPIs.
What we’re looking for:
We’re primarily looking for someone who is motivated to roll up their sleeves and get to work. Industry experience is optional, but many of these skills are transferable.
We’re on the lookout for someone who has some or all of these skills:
- Experience in both B2B and B2C environments.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy.
- Knowledge of the current digital marketing landscape, particularly content marketing and social media.
- Ability to adhere to and deliver within brand guidelines.
- Excellent “can do” attitude and team player.
- High attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for digital, business, and marketing.
Benefits
- Salary is competitive, negotiable and dependent on experience
- Company Bonus 10% of salary once company goals are met or at the company’s discretion which has been the past 5 years in a row
- Service Bonus of £1,000 per annum paid into your monthly salary up to 5 years / £5,000
- We operate on a flexible hours system. That means that while your usual hours will be during normal business hours, you have plenty of flexibility within that. Want to take a long lunch break? No worries. Do your best work at 6 am? Go for it.
- We’re a fully remote team, so no 8 am commutes into work
- Work hard, play hard – we offer a minimum of 34 holidays a year (2 weeks of which can be taken over Christmas)
- You’ll also get an extra day off for your birthday, so no awkward work birthday parties
- We have a monthly all-team meeting, which ends in a monthly all-team social
- We supply any remote working tools and equipment you need
- You’ll also get full private BUPA Healthcare coverage
- We’re a pension-providing employer
