A digital solution for the newest biggest name in wrestling.
The Brief
Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) asked Zap for a site redesign with a simple layout, straightforward to use, and gave them the ability to update content on a regular basis. The aim of the website was to drive ticket sales for events (linking out to an external site which manages tickets sales), build a mailing list database, and encourage users to download their app – which we also created!
The client is also partnered with the WWE network, where fans can watch their weekly show “ICW Fight Club” every Saturday. This was another main target point of the website.
The Solution
To fulfil these specifications, we designed the client a section to include their current roster / alumni of wrestlers. We also built a news/blog section where they could post regular news and event information.
The brand is known for their 18+ style of hardcore wrestling and our design team wanted the style of the website to reflect this. Giving it a grungy style, rather than adopting a clean minimalist style, gave the website its own personality as a smaller, independent Wrestling brand.
